Toward the end of our week at Moclips, we took a short side trip with Grandma Kathy to Lake Quinalt and the beautiful Quinalt Rain Forest.
As we headed out for a walk through the rain forest, Cisco noticed some salmon berries.
Jackson was very curious. 
We love the Northwest forest.
So many educational opportunities.
Jackson was fascinated with all the tall trees.
Like father, like son.
There were some giant old trees in the Quinalt Rain Forest.
And Mom had a chance to play dare-devil...one of her favorite activities.
We explored in the creek.
Such nice family time.
Then we headed down the path to the world's largest spruce tree.
Um...yep...it's huge alright!
Awww.
Just a little more time checking out the beautiful lake.
And some of the lovely surroundings.
Then Jackson was absolutely pooped out, so we headed back to the beach house.
